Dual mobility acetabular uncemented cups are suitable for patients with a higher risk of hip dislocation, such as those with neuromuscular disorders, previous hip trauma, revision surgeries, or certain anatomical abnormalities. They are also considered for primary hip replacements in patients who may not be ideal candidates for standard hip replacements due to these risk factors.
Description
- Truly hemispherical design (180° head coverage) with press-fit and dome 8 spikes aimed at increasing the primary stability of the shell that block the implant in rotation a greater area of rim interface contact offering better stability.
- Vacuum plasma-sprayed titanium porous + HA (hydroxyapatite) coating provides the optimal press-fit fixation effect; 700 +/- 50 microns coating of high porosity.
- Cluster hole design for better screw fixation & stability Internal surface highly polished to avoid friction with Liner Sizes (mm): 44-64 (2mm increment)
