Uncemented revision acetabular cups are suitable for acetabular revisions where there is adequate bone stock to provide initial stability and when the surgeon aims for biological fixation. They are particularly useful in cases of aseptic loosening, osteolysis, or malpositioning of the prior cup, and when bone grafting is required.
